Stephanie joined the practice in November 2012 as a veterinary technician in training. She became the head assistant in February 2014 and human resources and client coordinator in October 2015. Stephanie graduated from Alfred University with a Bachelor’s degree in biology in 2010. In 2012, she completed the Veterinary Technician program at Penn Foster College. In October 2013, Stephanie became a member of the American Society of Veterinary Dental Technicians. She has two horses named Ebony and Tanner, a dog named Cowboy and a Russian Tortoise named Turtle.
Human Resources & Client Coordinator
Andrea came to us in August 2016 as a member of the pet care team. She graduated from SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry with a Bachelor’s degree in conservation biology. Outside of work, Andrea loves studying environmentalism and dog behavior and cognition. She has three dogs; Yuma, Sasha, and Koda.
Kayla joined our receptionist team in November 2015. She is currently working towards her Bachelor’s degree in business administration. Outside of work, she enjoys fishing, hiking, swimming, and being with her family. Her four-legged partner in crime is a cat named Stanley Winston.
Patty has been with our practice since September 1991. She has an associate’s degree in accounting. Patty began as a receptionist and worked her way up to manager in 1993. Her duties include inventory management, assisting with human resources, and accounting administration. Sally arrived at Stack Veterinary Hospital in August 2004 to become a part of our pet care team. Since then, she has also become a member of the veterinary assistant and reception teams. Today, she is our hospice and palliative care liaison. Sally graduated from Onondaga Community College in December 2018 with a degree in alcohol and substance abuse counseling. She is currently attending Syracuse University for social work. When she’s not working, Sally enjoys being with her family on their horse farm, traveling, and reading classic novels. She has five horses, for cats, and three dogs.
Services For the Love of AnimalsHospice & Palliative Care Liaison
Marie joined the veterinary technician team in October 2012 and became the marketing and computer coordinator in October 2015. She graduated from SUNY Delhi with an associate’s in applied science in veterinary technology and a bachelor’s in business administration in veterinary technology management. In 2013 Marie became a member of the American Society of Veterinary Dental Technicians. Her special interests include dentistry and surgery. Marie loves to be outdoors and spend time with her family outside of work. She has an adorable Lab mix named Molly and a cat named Jax.
Alicia joined the practice in January 2020 as our Hospital Administrator. Alicia has previous experience in the veterinary medicine field, working as a Veterinary Assistant. Alicia received her Associate’s degree in Music Merchandising/Events, from OCC in 2012. In her spare time, Alicia enjoys exploring outdoors, camping, kayaking and reading. At home, she has 3 pets, Ruger a chocolate, labrador retriever, Sierra a tortoiseshell cat and Cousin Evie a calico cat!
Cherilyn joined our practice in April of 2013 as a member of the pet care team and became a receptionist in May of 2015. Cherilyn studied wildlife biology and pre-veterinary medicine with a minor in marine biology at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. She has a Sheltie mix named Oliver.
AVA, Veterinary Assistant Manager
Shannon graduated from Onondaga Community College in 2014, with a degree in Electronic Media Communications and joined the SVH team the following year. Shannon began in Reception and is now the Kennel Manager. She is currently attending SUNY Cortland for recreation management. Outside of work, Shannon enjoys the outdoors and watching movies. She shares her home with a Beagle mix, named Uncle Sam.
