Dr. Daniel Stack Dr. Stack joined the practice in 1988 after graduating from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. In March 1993, he became the third generation of veterinarians to take ownership of Stack Veterinary Hospital. DVM Dr. Jan MacDonald Dr. Jan MacDonald is one of the few board-certified surgeons in Onondaga County. She graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987 and joined Stack Veterinary Hospital as an associate veterinarian in August 1992. In 1994, she was awarded Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons after completing a four-year internship and surgical residency at The Animal Medical Center in NYC in 1991. Dr. MacDonald’s special interests are orthopedic surgery and pain management for veterinary patients. She has a dog named Thule, a very smart Standard Poodle. DVM, ACVS Dr. Kathleen Congel Dr. Kathleen Congel joined our staff as an associate veterinarian in June 1996. She graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 1996. Her special interests include small animal surgery and ophthalmology. Dr. Congel has a Lab mix named Biddy. DVM Dr. Rae Clark Dr. Rae Clark joined the practice in July 2010 after graduating from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. She received certification in feline health and is a Feline Friendly advocate through the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP). Her interests include nutrition, internal medicine, and dental health. In her spare time, Dr. Clark enjoys reading and being outdoors, taking part in many activities. She has three cats named Ivan, Birdie, and Frannie; a Labrador named Jake, and a Catahoula mix named Lou. DVM, Feline Friendly Associate Dr. Jamie Lovejoy Dr. Jamie Lovejoy came to our practice in November 2015. She graduated from Eckerd college in 2008 with a Bachelor’s in marine biology. In 2012, she received her veterinary degree from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lovejoy and Dr. Sellar host the hospital’s weekly radio show, every Sunday between 10-11AM on Newsradio 570 WSYR (106.9 FM). When not at work, Dr. Lovejoy spends her spare time watching classic movies, hiking, biking and cooking. She has a cat named Calvin and two birds, Toohey and Foster.
Paw Talk with Stack Veterinary HospitalDVM Dr. Kelly Bullett Dr. Kelly Bullett joined our team in June 2017. In 2012 she graduated from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor’s degree in biology, and in 2017 received her veterinary degree from the University of Florida. Dr. Bullett has a special interest in infectious diseases and public health. When not at work, she and her husband enjoy traveling. They have an English Bulldog named Hank and two calico cats, London and Savannah. DVM Dr. Kristin Sellar Dr. Kristin Sellar became a part of our team in July 2017. She graduated from the University of Rochester in 2010 with a degree in political science and economics, then continued on to receive her veterinary degree from St. George’s University in 2017. Her areas of professional interest include cardiology and dermatology. Dr. Sellar and Dr. Lovejoy host the hospital’s weekly radio show, every Sunday between 10-11AM on Newsradio 570 WSYR (106.9 FM). Outside of practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Sellar is an aspiring 46’er who can be found hiking in the Adirondacks or traveling. At home, her furry family includes a yellow Labrador named Leesy and an orange kitty named Deputy Ferguson.
Paw Talk with Stack Veterinary HospitalDVM Dr. Ross Taylor Dr. Taylor joined our practice in April of 2019. He is currently working as a Veterinarian, however his special interest is in Veterinary Radiology and is looking to pursue a career in that. He graduated as a Veterinary Technician in 2011 from SUNY Canton, attended Cornell University for Animal Science, and obtained his Veterinary Degree from Ross University. Outside of working hard for our patients, Dr. Taylor enjoys playing games with his friends, watching Disney movies, and cooking.
