Veterinary Receptionist

Established in 1910 and located in scenic Central New York. Stack Veterinary Hospital is proud to celebrate over 100 years and three generations of service to the community. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist to help meet the needs of our thriving hospital. The purpose of the Veterinary Receptionist at Stack Veterinary Hospital is to perform record-keeping duties, perform clerical duties related to patient care and treatment, and provide support to the veterinary practice management and healthcare team. Previous customer service background is desirable, but not required.
We are a family-run practice with 10 doctors, a full-time Board Certified Surgeon, a part-time Board Certified Radiologist, and a part-time Board Certified Cardiologist.
We are proud to be AAHA-accredited since 1957 in addition to holding our Feline Friendly (Silver) Certification. Our accreditations are proof of our commitment to our patients and their loving owners.
Our state-of-art facility offers:
- Digital radiography
- Ultrasound
- A cat-only waiting area and exam room
- 8 exam rooms with a dedicated quiet area for nervous pets
- A rehabilitation and laser therapy center
- A fully-equipped dental suite
- A spacious surgery suite
We also offer grooming, boarding, and a weekly radio show, as well as a strong focus on Veterinary Social Work.
Our team rotates between opening, closing, weekday, and Saturday schedules. We are closed on Sundays. Our hospital culture puts an emphasis on work-life balance for all team members and collaboration among our employees creates a supportive work environment, perfect for growth and learning. We are currently utilizing Cornerstone software and we are a paper-light facility. After-hour emergencies are directed to the area emergency hospitals or Cornell.
