Veterinary Assistants

  • Erin,
    AVA

    Erin joined the veterinary assistants team in 2002. She is an Approved Veterinary Assistant through New York State. Erin is the proud mother of two boys. 

  • Tracy
    Tracy rejoined our practice as a veterinary assistant in November 2008. She previously worked as a receptionist here at Stack Veterinary Hospital from 1999-2000. Growing up Tracy had cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and a dog. Tracy has two rescued kitties, 'Doogals,' and 'Azrael' (aka 'Azzy').
  • Daniel

    Dan joined the practice in August 2011 as a veterinary assistant. Prior to leading Stack's Pawsitive Approach, Dan was a dog trainer at Pet Smart. He offers private sessions for training at Stack Veterinary Hospital or in the convenience of your own home. He takes special interest in both canine and feline behavior and training. Dan has three dogs named 'Tessa,' 'Archer' and 'Link.' He also has three cats, 'Sonia,' 'Mia,' and 'Roxy.'   • Michelle
    Michelle joined the practice in July 2011 as a receptionist. In 2013 she became a veterinary assistant. Michelle has a Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Science from SUNY College of Environmental Science. Michelle has previous experience working at veterinary clinics. Additionally, she did an internship at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, a rescue that helps abandoned, abused, and neglected large animals. In addition to working with animals Michelle enjoys photography. Michelle has two cats named 'Stoli' and 'Trooper'.
  • Lacey,
    Groomer
    Lacey joined the practice in July 2012 as a member of the receptionist team. In the summer of 2013 she began training as a veterinary assistant, becoming a full time member of the assistants team in May 2014. Lacey underwent grooming training with a professional groomer from the Rochester Institute of Grooming during Fall 2014. She now provides grooming Services at Stack Veterinary Hospital. Lacey has a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Le Moyne College with a minor in Psychology and Philosophy. She is currently enrolled at San Juan College studying to become a veterinary technician.   • Allie

    Allie joined the practice September 2014 as a member of the pet care team. She later joined the veterinary assistant team. She has an Associates Degree in graphic design from Onondaga Community College. In her spare time she participates in bowling leagues and tournaments. Allie also enjoys long walks with her Great Dane 'Hagrid,' and her Dane mix 'Lola.' At home she also has a Russian tortoise, 'Emma.'

  • Cherilyn,
    AVA
    Cherilyn joined our practice in April of 2013 as a member of the Pet Care Team. She became a receptionist in May of 2015. Cherilyn is a senior at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry studying Wildlife Biology and Pre-Veterinary medicine with a minor in Marine Biology. She has a Sheltie mix named 'Oliver.'
  • Sam
    Sam joined the practice in November 2015 as a member of the veterinary assistant team. She has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biotechnology from SUNY ESF. In her spare time Sam likes to ski, scuba dive, go horse back riding, and just spend time at the barn with her horse 'Emma.'
  • Brittany
    Brittany joined the practice in May 2016 as a member of the veterinary assistant team. She graduated from Binghamton University in 2016 with a degree in Integrative Neuroscience. During her time there she also participated in the Pre-Veterinary Society and was a R.A. In her spare time Brittany enjoys spending time outside, camping, reading, and volunteering at a Standardbred Horse Rescue Facility. Brittany has a Miniature Pinscher named 'Peanut.'
  • Traci

    Traci joined the pet care team in September 2015. In September 2016 she became a veterinary assistant. In her free time, Traci enjoys riding and showing horses. She also works on the family dairy farm with her husband and two kids, Levi and Neolani. Traci has two horses, four dogs, two cats, a hedgehog, a rabbit, two guinea pigs, a hamster, chickens and lots of cows.  

  • Ashley

    Ashley joined the practice in January 2015 as a member of the Pet Care Team before becoming a veterinary assistant. Prior to joining the practice Ashley served 6 years in the Army National Guard and deployed to Afghanistan in 2012 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. In her spare time Ashley enjoys hanging out by the lake, going kayaking, and going on lots of walks with her puppy. Ashley has a German Shepherd named ‘Koda’ and a orange rescue kitty named ‘Otto’.

  • Brianna
    Brianna joined the practice in June 2016 as a member of the receptionist team. She has a Bachelor's of Science Degree from LeMoyne College. In her spare time Brianna enjoys any outdoor activity. Brianna has a Scottish Fold named 'Chance' and a Pekingese named 'Smidgen.'
  • Alicia

    Alicia joined the practice in April 2017 as a member of the receptionist team before becoming a veterinary assistant in December 2017. She is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician program. In her spare time Alicia enjoys bonfires, BBQ's, and taking road trips back home to Maine. Alicia has 2 pitbulls, 'Roxy' and 'Rhino,' a cat named 'Onyx,' and a bunch of chickens.

  • Madeline

    Madeline joined the practice in January 2018 as a member of the veterinary assistant team. In her spare time she enjoys English horseback riding, hiking and running.

  • Hannah
    Hannah joined the practice in July 2017 as a member of the Pet Care Team. She is currently a student at Morrisville State College in the Equine Science program. Outside of work Hannah enjoys showing and training Paso Fino horses. Hannah has many pets including four horses, 'Artie,' 'Ptimo,' 'Sparticus,' and 'Leo;' four cats, 'Max,' 'Piper,' 'Wrangler,' and 'Miss Kitty;' and three dogs, 'Brody,' 'Fynn,' and 'Rosie.'
  • Amy

    Amy joined the practice as a receptionist and veterinary assistant in October 2018. She is currently working towards her Bachelor's in American Studies. In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking with her kids, and visiting with family and friends. Amy has three cats, 'Euli,' Sophie' and 'Fuzzy,' and two guinea pigs, 'Butterball' and 'Spook.'
