Veterinary Assistants

  • Erin,
    AVA

    Erin joined the veterinary assistants team in 2002. She is an Approved Veterinary Assistant through New York State. Erin is the proud mother of two boys. Erin has a cat named "Gizmo" and a Miniature Dachshund named "Molly."

  • Tracy

    Tracy rejoined our practice as a veterinary assistant in November 2008. She previously worked as a receptionist here at Stack Veterinary Hospital from 1999-2000. Growing up Tracy had cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and a dog. Tracy has two rescued kitties, "Doogals," and "Azrael" (aka "Azzy").

  • Daniel

    Dan joined the practice in August 2011 as a veterinary assistant. Prior to leading Stack's Pawsitive Approach, Dan was a dog trainer at Pet Smart. He offers private and group sessions for training at Stack Veterinary Hospital or in the convenience of your own home for private sessions. He takes special interest in both canine and feline behavior and training. Dan has two dogs named "Tessa," and "Norman." He also has three cats, "Sonia," "Mia," and "Roxy."   • Michelle

    Michelle joined the practice in July 2011 as a receptionist. In 2013 she became a veterinary assistant. Michelle has a Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Science from SUNY College of Environmental Science. Michelle has previous experience working at veterinary clinics. Additionally, she did an internship at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, a rescue that helps abandoned, abused, and neglected large animals. In addition to working with animals Michelle enjoys photography. Michelle has two cats named "Stoli" and "Trooper".

  • Lacey,
    Groomer

    Lacey joined the practice in July 2012 as a member of the receptionist team. In the summer of 2013 she began training as a veterinary assistant, becoming a full time member of the assistants team in May 2014. Lacey underwent grooming training with a professional groomer from the Rochester Institute of Grooming during Fall 2014. She now provides grooming Services at Stack Veterinary Hospital. Lacey has a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Le Moyne College with a minor in Psychology and Philosophy. She is currently enrolled at San Juan College studying to become a veterinary technician.   • Meghen

    Meghen joined the practice in December 2013 as a member of the receptionist team. In March 2015 she became a member of the veterinary assistant team. Meghen is currently enrolled in Penn Foster's veterinary technician program. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her dogs, friends, and family and riding her horse. Meghan has 3 dogs, a Boxer named "Dudley," a Bichon mix named "Oliver," and a Siberian Husky named "Nikita."

  • Allie

    Allie joined the practice September 2014 as a member of the pet care team. She later joined the veterinary assistant team. She has an Associates Degree in graphic design from Onondaga Community College. In her spare time she participates in bowling leagues and tournaments. ‚ÄčAllie also enjoys long walks with her Great Dane mix "Lola." At home she also has a Russian tortoise, "Emma."

  • Cherilyn,
    AVA

    Cherilyn joined our practice in April of 2013 as a member of the Pet Care Team. She became a receptionist in May of 2015. Cherilyn is a senior at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry studying Wildlife Biology and Pre-Veterinary medicine with a minor in Marine Biology. She has a Sheltie mix named "Oliver."

  • Sam

    Sam joined the practice in November 2015 as a member of the veterinary assistant team. She has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biotechnology from SUNY ESF. In her spare time Sam likes to ski, scuba dive, go horse back riding, and just spend time at the barn with her horse "Emma."

  • Brittany

    Brittany joined the practice in May 2016 as a member of the veterinary assistant team. She graduated from Binghamton University in 2016 with a degree in Integrative Neuroscience. During her time there she also participated in the Pre-Veterinary Society and was a R.A. In her spare time Brittany enjoys spending time outside, camping, reading, and volunteering at a Standardbred Horse Rescue Facility. Brittany has a Miniature Pinscher named "Peanut."

  • Ashley

    Ashley joined the practice in January of 2015 as a member of the Pet Care Team before becoming a veterinary assistant. Ashley graduated from Onondaga Community College in May of 2015. She wants to continue her education in hopes to pursue a career in counseling. She also wants to become a certified dog trainer so that she can train service dogs and do volunteer work at Clear Path for Vets (working with veterans K9 for Vets program). Ashley enjoys spending as much time with her family as possible. She tries to go to Boldt Castle at least once a year as well as take a camping trip in the Adirondacks. Ashley has a German Shepherd named "Koda."
