Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Linda Homco received her DVM degree from Purdue University in 1979. After completing a one-year internship at the New York state college of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University, she worked at the Animal Hospital of Pittsford in Rochester New York. Dr. Homco worked in Rochester for seven years with clinical interests in medicine, oncology, radiology, and exotic animals. 

She returned to the Midwest to complete a four-year radiology residency at the University of Illinois, receiving Board Certification in Radiology in 1992. Dr. Homco then accepted an appointment as an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Ultrasound at Texas A & M University's College of Veterinary Medicine in College Station, Texas. After seven years on the faculty, she returned to Upstate New York in 1998.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dr. Homco is a classically trained musician (violin and viola) and enjoys reading, dressage, paleontology, and traveling to visit family and friends. She lives in Ithaca with three Labrador retrievers, three adopted cats, and a horse.
