Ultrasound is a non-invasive diagnostic tool that, through the use of sound waves, yields detailed images of your pet's internal organs. It is very effective for examining the heart and abdominal areas. We utilize ultrasound to confirm findings on physical exams or radiographs. Dr. Homco, a board certified radiologist, visits Stack Veterinary Hospital on Wednesday's to perform ultrasounds and interpret radiographs.
